Sokal region mourns another son of Ukraine… In a fierce struggle for freedom and peace, another defender has died — Bogdan Zinoviyovych Dubyk, born on 29 April 1994, resident of the village of Zubkiv.
Bogdan followed the path of a true patriot: from studying at Zubkivska Primary School and Volytska Secondary School to obtaining a higher education at Lutsk National Technical University, where he specialised in mechanical engineering. After graduation, he worked as an engineer at the Lutsk Bearing Plant.
In December 2023, he was called up for military service. Bohdan became an operator in the radio-electronic warfare against UAVs unit of military unit A-4945. He served honestly, loyally and with complete self-sacrifice.
His colleagues remember Bohdan as a kind, sensitive and reliable friend who always came to the rescue, never left anyone in trouble, had a strong inner core and was well respected.
Bogdan is survived by his parents, brother and sister. The loss is immeasurable, the pain indescribable.
We bow our heads in deep sorrow together with the Hero’s family.
