The military unit submitted Oleksandr Syotka for the state award of the Order of Courage, 3rd degree, application number 692/8645 dated 08/17/2023.

Oleksandr grew up an orphan, was a patriot of Ukraine and his native language, took an active part in the Revolution of Dignity. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and underwent training in Great Britain. Oleksandr Syotka was proud to serve in the airborne assault troops. His brothers considered him a fearless warrior, he was the first to go into battle. Oleksandr dreamed of living in a peaceful Ukraine, but said he was ready to give his life for it.

Soldier Oleksandr Mykhailovych Syotka was loyal to the Pledge to the end, he heroically died in battle near the village of Dibrova, Luhansk region, while storming enemy positions, while carrying out orders. The command’s order was carried out, enemy positions were captured, eight enemies were captured during the battle.

We, the deputy corps of the Sokal City Council, ask to consider our appeal and help in its resolution. Adopted at the XL session of the VIII convocation of the Sokal city council of the Lviv region on January 11, 2024
