Ukraine has introduced a simplified procedure for voluntarily returning to military service for former servicemen and servicewomen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service. The return takes into account previous experience, professional skills, as well as the opportunity to choose the desired area, position and unit.
The simplified procedure for returning to service is available until 20 September 2026.

- via the ‘Army+’ app;
- the chosen military unit;
- servicemen and servicewomen of the AFU – the 1st or 2nd AFU recruiting centre;
- the hotline of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine on 1519.
