Senior Sergeant Vasyl Rymar died during a combat mission in Donetsk region

The Sheptytskyi City Council reported the death of Hero Vasyl Ihorovych Rymar, born in 1996. The defender of Ukraine has joined the Heavenly Legion after giving his life for the country’s independence and freedom.

Vasyl Rymar served in the military with the rank of senior sergeant. He was an unmanned aerial vehicle operator in the battalion of unmanned aviation systems of military unit A4438.

For more than three months, the soldier’s family and loved ones waited for good news and hoped he would return home. Since March of this year, Vasyl Rymar had been considered missing.

Recently, the tragic news was officially confirmed: the defender died on March 24 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Rai-Oleksandrivka in Donetsk region. Vasyl Rymar will forever remain 29 years old.
