In the Stryi community, they have laid to rest Ivan Shnaider, a defender of Ukraine who, in the first days of the full-scale invasion, returned from abroad to take up the defence of his Homeland. This was reported by the Stryi City Council.
The funeral service took place in the serviceman’s native village of Velyki Didushychi. Family, friends, fellow villagers and representatives of the community gathered to bid farewell to Ivan Shnaider.
The Stryi City Council expressed its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the fallen defender and thanked him for his service to Ukraine.
