In the Stryi community, a farewell ceremony was held for Serhii Melnyk, a defender of Ukraine and a machine-gunner in the territorial defence battalion. He was a native of Stryi.
According to available information, the serviceman was killed in Zaporizhzhia while carrying out a combat mission. The community extends its condolences to his mother, children, brother, as well as to all the relatives and friends of the fallen soldier, and thanks him for his service to Ukraine.
