Taras Hamliy: Junior Sergeant Killed in Kharkiv Region

General reports that Taras Hamliy, a junior sergeant of the repair and recovery battalion, was killed in the line of duty on the Kharkiv front. He was born on January 18, 1976, in Stryi and studied at the Stryi Lyceum named after I. Franko and VPU No. 34.

Taras served in the military and participated in the ATO in 2015-2016. After his service, he lived in the village of Verchany. With the start of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was wounded multiple times but always returned to service, remaining faithful to his oath. For his service, he was awarded the medal “For Conscientious Service”.

Taras is survived by his mother and brother. Eternal memory and glory to the Hero.
