18 August marks the third anniversary of the death of Stepan Solovii (02.04.1993 – 18.08.2023) — a defender of Ukraine and resident of the settlement of Velykyi Liubin.
From the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Stepan Solovii joined the ranks of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade, where he carried out combat missions defending the Ukrainian state.
On 18 August 2023, the serviceman was killed in the line of duty near Klishchiivka in Donetsk region. He is remembered as a courageous warrior who gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.
The community remembers Stepan Solovii on the anniversary of his death and bows their heads before his feat.
