Sad news once again envelops our Truskavets community. Andriy Melnyk from Truskavets has died at the front.
Melnyk Andriy Romanovych was born on October 14, 1993, in Truskavets. He was called to military service by the Stryi RTC on January 1, 2025. Senior gunner of the 3rd mortar crew of the 1st mortar platoon of the mortar battery of the motorized infantry battalion of the military unit A5003 Andriy Melnyk died on August 21, 2025, during a combat mission near the settlement of Shakove in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
The date of arrival of the fallen warrior’s body, as well as the time and place of farewell, will be announced additionally.
