A sad news for the Belz community. On March 3, 2026, during a combat mission in the village of Lozove, Kharkiv region, our warrior-defender, a resident of the city of Uhniv — Master Sergeant Viktor Volodymyrovych Omelnychuk, a serviceman of the First Donetsk Border Detachment 9937, First PCSR, was killed. Viktor Volodymyrovych was born on October 21, 1984. He bravely defended Ukraine, its independence and freedom, remaining faithful to the military oath until the end. The Belz community bows its heads in deep sorrow before the bright memory of the Hero. Sincere condolences to his wife Maryana, children — Dmytryk and Nadiyka, mother Olha, the entire family, close ones, and comrades of the fallen Defender. We share your pain and grief.
