Buchko Taras, a resident of Novo-Yavoriv, died in the battles for the independence of Ukraine

On September 20, 2022, while defending Ukraine from the enemy in the Mykolaiv Region, the life of a soldier of the 63rd OMBr, BUCHKO Taras Vasyliovych from Novo-Yavoriv was cut short. He was 43.

“This is an indescribable loss for our family. He was a good son and brother, a loving husband and the best father. He was a deeply religious man, he loved people and his grandmother, Ukraine. Taras voluntarily went to the Military Commissariat to protect his Ukrainian land and its people,” say his relatives about Taras.

It will be possible to say goodbye to the Ukrainian defender 🔸 on Friday, September 23, after 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul – Novoyavorivsk. The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the church of St. App. Peter and Paul. The soldier will be buried at the local cemetery.

Taras Vasyliovych Buchko was born on December 20, 1978 in the city of Novoyavorivsk.

A graduate of Novoyavoriv School No. 3. Taras received his higher education at the Lviv Institute of Physical Culture.

He went to war from the first days of the full-scale invasion as part of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade.
On September 20, 2022, a soldier, Taras Buchko, died while performing a combat mission in Mykolaiv Oblast.

“I will come home either victorious or I will die for Ukraine,” were the last words of Taras during a conversation with his wife.

Hero Taras is survived by his mother Natalia Vasylivna, wife Galina, children Andriana and Svyatoslav, brothers Vasyl, Yuriy and Oleg.
