While on a combat mission near the village of Hrushivka in Kharkiv region, serviceman Andrii Kotyk, born in 1984, was killed. He fell in battle for Ukraine, for its freedom and independence.
From the very first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Andrii Kotyk stepped forward to defend the country. He served as a senior soldier, driver-electrician in the information collection and processing section of the unmanned aviation systems platoon of military unit A1008.
It is reported that the soldier was killed on 18 June while carrying out a combat mission. His family, comrades-in-arms and all who knew this defender express profound sorrow at his loss and stress that the memory of him, and of the price paid for freedom, will endure forever.
