In the area of the settlement of Spodobivka in Kharkiv region, while carrying out a combat mission to defend Ukraine’s independence, Vasyl Kreminets, a resident of the village of Stremín, born in 1997, was killed.
Vasyl Kreminets served in the Armed Forces as a driver with a rocket artillery battery in military unit A1008. He was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 27 February 2022 and had served continuously since then, defending the country.
According to the community, the soldier was killed on 20 September 2026, remaining faithful to his military oath and to the people of Ukraine. He died while carrying out a combat mission in the Spodobivka area in Kharkiv region.
In civilian life, Vasyl worked as an underground electrician and mechanic at the Lisova mine. His family and friends remember him as a kind, sincere and hard-working person who loved nature, enjoyed hunting and cherished the time he spent with his family.
The fallen defender is survived by his parents, a sister with her family, a brother, his goddaughter, nephews, grandmother and his beloved girlfriend. The community extends its heartfelt condolences to Vasyl’s family and friends, noting that no words can ease the pain of such a loss.
