On 28 October 2026, while carrying out his official duties in Donetsk region, resident of Radekhiv, Private Volodymyr Paliukh, born in 1974, was killed. He served as a sapper in the mechanised bridges section of the engineer-road platoon of the engineer-technical company of the support battalion.
Radekhiv City Council reported that the community, together with his family, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms, shares the pain of this irreparable loss and extends its sincere condolences to all who knew and respected the Defender.
The time and place for meeting the cortege with the body of the fallen serviceman, as well as details of the funeral service, will be announced separately.
In the Radekhiv community, they emphasise their gratitude for the service and sacrifice of Volodymyr Paliukh, who gave his life in the line of military duty.
