The Radekhiv community has suffered a painful loss. Mykola Romanovych Smal-Stotskyi, a resident of Radekhiv, was killed while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk region.
According to the Radekhiv City Council, the serviceman was killed on September 20, 2026, in the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian defender remained faithful to his military oath and performed his military duty in the fight for Ukraine’s freedom and independence.
Mykola Smal-Stotskyi was born on December 19, 1969. He served in the Armed Forces following mobilization and held the rank of sergeant.
The serviceman was a senior gunner of the 3rd self-propelled artillery platoon of the 1st self-propelled artillery battery of the self-propelled artillery battalion.
The Radekhiv City Council expressed its condolences to the soldier’s family and everyone who knew him. The community shares the grief of this irreparable loss with his relatives, loved ones, friends, and fellow servicemen.
Information about the time and place where the funeral cortege carrying the fallen soldier will be met, as well as details of the funeral ceremony, will be announced later.
