In the Drohobych urban territorial community, the programme of social support for veterans continues, providing reimbursement of the cost of family holiday services for war veterans and their families.
During September 2026, UAH 742.5 thousand was allocated from the city budget for this programme. Thanks to this, 100 families of veterans were able to take advantage of health improvement and holiday opportunities.
Since the start of the programme, 304 families have already received support totalling UAH 2.3 million.
Compensation is granted to combatants, participants of the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation (ATO/JFO), persons with disabilities as a result of war, and members of their families who are registered and actually reside in the Drohobych urban territorial community.
For detailed information on participation in the programme, residents are advised to contact the Social Protection Department of Drohobych City Council at its offices in Drohobych and Stebnyk on working days, in accordance with the approved schedule.
