
In the Drohobych community in July, 1.8 million UAH was allocated in social payments for war veterans, Defenders of Ukraine and female Defenders of Ukraine, and members of their families. The funding was provided under the city’s comprehensive programme of social support for Defenders and female Defenders of Ukraine, war veterans, families of fallen (deceased) and missing servicemen, as well as families of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred for 2026–2030.
In total, 794,000 UAH was received by people with disabilities as a result of the war, combatants and members of their families, as well as families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine residing in the Drohobych community. These funds were provided in accordance with the Procedure for granting one-off financial assistance to Defenders and female Defenders of Ukraine, war veterans and members of their families for 2026.
Under the programme supporting the installation of memorial markers on the graves of fallen (deceased) Defenders and female Defenders of Ukraine, war veterans, volunteer fighters of the Anti-Terrorist Operation and victims among participants of the Revolution of Dignity, one-off assistance totalling 540,000 UAH was paid. Eighteen families received financial support.
A further 415,000 UAH was directed to reimburse the cost of services for organising family holidays for war veterans and members of their families. These payments are also made under the city programme.
