In Dublyany, on the facade of the Dublyany Hub Lyceum named after Hero of Ukraine Anatolii Zhalovaha, memorial plaques were unveiled in honour of Sviatoslav Kravets and Ivan Kit, who were killed defending Ukraine.
The event was timed to coincide with Defenders of Ukraine Day, so the unveiling of the commemorative signs took place on 1 October. It was at this lyceum that both soldiers once studied.
During the commemoration ceremony, the institution emphasised that Sviatoslav Kravets and Ivan Kit had been ordinary schoolboys with their own plans and dreams, but with the start of the full-scale war they unhesitatingly stood up for the defence of the state, demonstrating courage and devotion to their Homeland.
The unveiling of the memorial plaques brought together the relatives and friends of the fallen defenders, their comrades-in-arms, lyceum pupils and teachers, as well as clergy. Those present honoured the memory of the fallen soldiers with a joint prayer and a minute of silence.
