Today in Horodok, residents will gather to receive the body of fallen defender Serhii Tsarov. The arrival of the warrior on his native soil and a public gathering are scheduled for 13:00 on the town’s central square.
As reported by the community, Horodok resident Tsarov Serhii Oleksandrovych, born in 1982 (06.09.1982), was killed during the war. From the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he joined Ukraine’s defence forces and served in military unit 3035 of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The serviceman bravely carried out combat missions, remaining faithful to his military oath. He was killed on 22 August 2026 in the area of the settlement of Mykolaivka in Donetsk region.
The community extends its condolences to the mother, brother and wife of Serhii Tsarov, as well as to all his relatives, comrades-in-arms, friends and acquaintances who are enduring this heavy loss. They pledge to honour the memory of the fallen warrior, emphasising his selfless service for the sake of Ukraine and its future.
