In the Horodok territorial community, a memorial stele was unveiled in June 2026 to honour defenders who are being held in captivity and those considered missing. The community reported the event on its Facebook page.
The post notes that fragments of the unveiling of the stele entitled “We believe, we hope, we wait”, dedicated to service personnel whose fate remains unknown or who are being held in captivity, have been published.
The stele is intended to remind community residents of the defenders who have not returned home and to support the families of prisoners of war and those who are missing.
