To the settlement of Ivano-Frankove returns on his shield Mykola Kohaykevych — a defender who gave his life for Ukraine. The Ivano-Frankove community is preparing to give their fallen warrior a worthy welcome and accompany him on his final journey.
The arrival of the funeral cortege with the body of Mykola Kohaykevych is scheduled for Wednesday, 21 October, at approximately 14:00. The cortege will proceed through the streets of the settlement to his parents’ home at: vul. Sadova, 32.
After the farewell at home, the defender’s body will be taken to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, where he will remain overnight. The parastas in the church will begin at 19:00.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, 22 October, at 11:00. After the requiem service, Mykola Kohaykevych will be buried in the local cemetery.
Residents of the Ivano-Frankove community are asked to join in honouring the memory of the warrior by forming a live corridor of respect along the route of the funeral cortege.
