The Komarno community has announced the farewell ceremony for a fallen defender of Ukraine. According to Komarno City Council, on 31 August a funeral cortege carrying the serviceman’s body will depart from the mortuary in Lviv.
The cortege is scheduled to leave the mortuary at 12:00. Residents of the community are asked to join the reception and form a live corridor of honour to pay their final respects to the soldier.
A memorial vigil for the fallen defender will take place on 31 August at 20:00. The funeral service is scheduled for 1 September at 12:00.
The community notes that in this difficult time everyone is united in prayer and mourning together with the defender’s family, honouring his memory and his selfless service to Ukraine.
