On 29 August at 15:00, an event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes of Ukraine will take place in the town of Komarno. Participants will honour the fallen Defenders, men and women, who gave their lives for the freedom, independence and future of the state. This was reported by Komarno Town Council.
The event will begin near the Church of Peter and Paul, at the grave of the fighters for Ukraine’s freedom and independence. After a joint prayer, those present will proceed in a procession to the Alley of Heroes on the grounds of Komarno Town Council.
At the Alley of Heroes, a joint prayer and commemoration of the fallen Defenders is planned. The organisers call on residents and visitors of the town to join the event to pay tribute together to those who died for Ukraine.
