
In the village of Lishchyn, memorial plaques were unveiled on the facade of the Community Centre in honour of three heroes: Roman Dosiak, Petro Bardak, and Ivan Voronyi. These warriors gave their lives defending Ukraine.
Roman Dosiak was born in Lviv but lived in Lishchyn. He joined the military in September 2018 and served in the 109th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion. On 18 May 2019, he was severely wounded and died on 22 May 2019. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd Class.
Petro Bardak was a resident of Lishchyn and served in the Donetsk region. He died on 1 August 2023 and was posthumously awarded the “Hero’s Cross” distinction.
Ivan Voronyi, also from Lishchyn, served in the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade. He died on 13 November 2024 and was considered missing for some time.
In the village of Zahirochko, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the school facade for Andriy Chaikovskyi, who died on 16 July 2024 in a battle in the Donetsk region.
