During the celebrations of the 660th anniversary of the settlement of Lopatin, residents and guests of the event raised funds in support of a local serviceman. As a result of the charitable initiative, 45,000 UAH was collected.
As reported by the Lopatin territorial community, all the funds raised will be handed over to fellow villager Andriy Khomlyak. He is currently serving in the 42nd Separate Mechanised Brigade and carrying out combat missions in the Pokrovsk sector.
The funds will be used to repair the vehicle used by the unit’s defenders. The vehicle was damaged by an enemy drone strike, so restoring its technical condition is crucial for the mobility and safety of the soldiers and for the performance of their combat missions.
The community expressed its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser, stressing that every donation is a sign of support, gratitude and care for the servicemen who defend Ukraine every day.
