The Lopatyn territorial community has announced a painful loss — war veteran Ivan Ivanov Yevhenovych, born in 1999, has passed away.
The defender served Ukraine courageously and stood for its freedom. After sustaining an injury, he suffered severe health consequences and was discharged from military service due to his medical condition. The community describes his life path as an example of resilience, courage, and devotion to his country.
The announcement says that the Hero’s heart has stopped beating. The Lopatyn community expressed sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, and everyone who knew Ivan Ivanov.
The farewell ceremony will take place tomorrow at 11:00 AM in the settlement of Lopatyn at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. After the service, the Hero will be buried at the local cemetery.
