On the night of July 28, 2025, residents of the Lviv region were awakened by the sound of an air raid siren. The alert was issued at 03:59 following a potential missile threat.
The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, confirmed the alert on social media.
The alarm lasted for 44 minutes, with the all-clear signal given at 04:43. As of now, there have been no reports of explosions or damage to infrastructure in the region.
