The driver committed an accident, tried to escape, and the Drager device went off the scale
Recently, motorcycle patrol policemen received a report of an accident on Shevchenko Street. Upon arriving at the scene, the patrol policemen identified the participants in the accident.
This was reported to Holos Sokalshchyny by the Patrol Police of Lviv Region.
As the motorcycle patrol officers found out, after the accident, the culprit tried to flee the scene. While talking to the driver, the inspectors found signs of alcohol intoxication.
He agreed to take a sobriety test. The Drager device showed upward arrows, which exceeded the measuring range of the breathalyzer.
The motorcycle patrol drew up 3 reports against the 39-year-old driver: under Part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated), Art. 124 (Violation of the traffic rules that led to an accident) and Art. 122-4 (Leaving the scene of an accident) of the CAO.
