Today, 11 June 2026, a funeral cortege bearing the body of the fallen warrior Yurchyshyn Rostyslav Ihorovych, born in 2005, will be received in Lviv. The cortege is expected to arrive at the “Alley of Heroes” at around 14:00.
After arriving at the “Alley of Heroes”, the funeral procession will proceed to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 2 A. Sheptytskyi Street (BAM), where a parastas will be held the same day at 19:00.
The following day, Friday, at 13:00, the funeral service will begin at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The warrior is to be laid to rest at the Malekhiv Cemetery.
The announcement emphasises the commemoration of the defender’s memory and heroic deed.
