Underwater drone TOLOKA TLK-1000 with 5-ton payload and 2000 km range unveiled in Lviv

A new Ukrainian underwater drone named TOLOKA was officially unveiled in Lviv, as reported by Clash Report. The unmanned system is capable of covering distances of up to 2000 kilometers and carrying payloads of up to 5 tons.

The presentation took place during Defense Tech Valley 2025, the world’s largest defense technology investment summit, showcasing cutting-edge military innovations.

The TOLOKA TLK-1000 is part of a series of three drone variants, each differing in size and capabilities:

  • TLK-150

    • Body length: 2.5 meters

    • Range: up to 100 km

    • Power: electric motor

    • Payload capacity: 20–50 kg

  • TLK-400

    • Body length: 4–6 meters

    • Range: up to 1200 km

    • Payload capacity: up to 500 kg

  • TLK-1000

    • Body length: 4–12 meters

    • Range: up to 2000 km

    • Payload capacity: up to 5000 kg

Back in May 2023, Defense Express analysts first reported the development of the smallest version, TLK-150. Despite its compact size, it offered underwater functionality and lower detectability by enemy radar systems, making it suitable for covert reconnaissance and sabotage missions.

In February 2025, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented one of the TOLOKA drones to leaders of foreign countries and international organizations. However, the specific model displayed was not disclosed.

In addition to TOLOKA, the exhibition featured other types of drones, ground-based combat systems, military vehicles, and next-generation defense technologies.
