
In Lviv on Monday, 16th March, they will bid farewell to the warrior Arseniy Dovhun, who died defending Ukraine from Russian occupiers. The Lviv City Council urges residents and visitors of the city to join the commemoration ceremony and refrain from entertainment activities. The procession will begin at 11:00 am at the Garrison Church of Saints Peter and Paul, followed by a city-wide farewell at approximately 11:30 am at Rynok Square, as reported by the Lviv City Council.
The defender will be buried at Lychakiv Cemetery, in the field of honourable burials No. 87. Arseniy Dovhun, a native of Novovolynsk in the Volyn Oblast, served his conscription and worked as a painter at “Kvitka” LLC. He was passionate about automotive matters and mushroom gathering. In 2024, he stood up to defend Ukraine, protecting it on the Chernihiv and Northern Slobozhansky directions. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
