In Lviv, 12 memorial plaques have been unveiled to employees of the municipal enterprise Lvivvodokanal who were killed defending Ukraine. This was reported by the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi.
According to him, before the start of the full-scale war these people provided the city with water, and once it began, they stepped forward to defend the country as servicemen. Municipal infrastructure workers are also fighting and, as Sadovyi noted, sadly, there are those among them who have fallen.
The memorial plaques were installed in honour of Volodymyr Hirnyi, Ivan Hryniavskyi, Bohdan Hrytskiw, Stepan Dubyk, Stepan Ivasyk, Ihor Kysorets, Yurii Martynovskyi, Vasyl Tarnyovyi, Danylo-Oleh Chekan, Stefan Yurkevych, Roman Yaryni and Vasyl Havrysh.
The Mayor expressed his sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the fallen Lvivvodokanal employees and stressed the importance of honouring their memory.
