Recruitment center of the 24th King Danylo Brigade has been launched in Lviv

The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, in cooperation with the Lviv City Council, has opened its recruitment center in Lviv.

Here you can come and talk to a recruiter, get information and advice, find out about all the current vacancies in the brigade and join the fight for Ukraine.

“Today we are honored to open a separate recruitment center for our glorious 24th King Danylo Brigade. Very often people have questions about the vacancies, and there are quite a few of them and they are critically important. Russia has been, is and will be our enemy, so all men who have reached a certain age must have the skills of military service and must be ready to devote part of their lives to our army. That is why I congratulate the 24th Brigade and announce that we will soon open a recruiting center for the Kholodnyi Yar Brigade in Lviv,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi at a briefing.

“This is a great initiative, and there should be more such centers every day, and not only in Lviv. This will really allow our citizens to get more detailed information about military service, available positions, and people will be more aware,” said Roman Nemashkalo, representative of the Lviv Regional Territorial Recruitment Center.

“We are confident that the center will allow us to fill all the vacant positions in the brigade and perform our tasks even better. We thank you, Mr. Mayor, and the community for your support,” said Lieutenant Colonel Vadym Lukianyshyn, deputy commander of the 24th Brigade.

The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade is one of the most experienced mechanized units in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and its soldiers have been through the hottest spots of the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2014. Back then, the brigade liberated Krasnyi Lyman, Yampil, Zakitne, Siversk, Zarichne, Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk. The unit faced a full-scale invasion in Luhansk region, was one of the first to liberate the southern territories of Ukraine during the counteroffensive in 2022, held the defense of Bakhmut and is still performing combat missions on one of the eastern directions.

Currently, the most pressing vacancies in the 24th Brigade are for UAV operators and their assistants and drivers (i.e., so-called UAV crews), electronic warfare system operators, electronic intelligence operators, and drivers. They are also looking for an officer of the financial and economic service, and soon there will be an accountant position. At the same time, there are various staff positions.

“When a candidate comes to us, our task is to understand what they want and what vacancy their skills are best suited for. If the person meets the requirements of the vacancy, we take his or her personal data and pass the contacts to the relevant department. After clarifying narrower issues, if everything is in order, we prepare a letter of recommendation and provide support until the person takes up his position in the brigade,” explained Vasyl Dzesa, a soldier with the 24th Brigade, a recruiter at the center.

The unit emphasizes that if a person has a desire to serve, they will always find a vacancy and offer him or her the opportunity.

“We are opening the first recruitment center of our brigade to attract motivated people to defend our country. People can come here, talk to a recruiter, get all the information they need to know about our brigade and decide whether they want to serve with us or not,” added Andriy Polukhin, a representative of the 24th Brigade’s public relations service.

The recruiting center of the 24th Brigade is located at 9, Knyazya Yaroslav Osmomysla Square. Contact phone number: 0668378354.

By the way, the first recruiting center of the Ukrainian army in Ukraine is already operating in Lviv, as well as recruiting centers of the Azov Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Da Vinci Wolves Battalion.
