In Lypnyky, serviceman Orest Lepak has died

In the village of Lypnyky, serviceman Orest Serhiiovych Lepak, born in 1993, has died. During a short period of leave on 28 July 2026, his heart suddenly stopped.

Orest Lepak was born and lived in Lypnyky and attended school in the village of Solonka. He devoted a significant part of his life to service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. From 2012 to 2017 he served in the 1st Halychyna-Volyn Radio Engineering Brigade, from 2017 to 2018 he served in the 95th Separate Airmobile Brigade, and from 2018 to 2023 he returned to the 1st Halychyna-Volyn Radio Engineering Brigade. Since 2023 he had been fulfilling his military duty in the reconnaissance unit of the 115th Separate Mechanised Brigade.

The community extends its sincere condolences to his mother Tetiana, father Serhii, brother Andrii, sister Yuliia, grandmother Varvara Ivanivna, and to all the serviceman's relatives, loved ones, comrades-in-arms and friends.

The funeral service for Orest Lepak will take place on Tuesday, 4 August. At 10:15 the farewell will begin outside his parents' home at: Lypnyky village, 121 Mykoly-Oleha Pankiva Street. After this, the funeral procession will proceed to the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Lypnyky, where the funeral rite will be performed, and then on to the local cemetery.

Residents of the community are asked to give the warrior a dignified farewell on his final journey and to support his family in prayer.
