In the village of Malyi Liubin, a commemorative plaque will be consecrated in honour of the fallen soldier Petro Kleba, who gave his life defending Ukraine. The event is being organised as a joint prayer and act of remembrance.
The ceremony will take place by the monument “To the Peasants of Malyi Liubin, burned together with the village by Russian-Bolshevik invaders”. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:30.
As part of the commemoration, a collection of Petro Kleba’s poems, “Words that live on…”, will also be presented. The presentation aims to give those attending a closer acquaintance with his work and to preserve the memory of the soldier.
The organisers are calling on all who care to join in prayer and in the collective commemoration of the defender.
