
In Mostyska, over the course of August 2026, a total of 330 620 UAH, 250 US dollars and 25 zlotys was raised to support Ukrainian service personnel. This was reported by the Mostyska City Council.
Employees of various institutions, local residents, councillors and participants in charity events contributed to the fundraising. In particular, the staff of the Mostyska City Council transferred 71 750 UAH, the Humanitarian Department – 12 600 UAH, the Municipal Non-Commercial Enterprise “TsPMSD” – 5 000 UAH, the Municipal Institution “TsNSP” – 13 600 UAH, the Municipal Utility Company “Zhytlovyk” – 6 000 UAH, and the Municipal Utility Company “Vodokanal” – 3 000 UAH. Pilates classes brought in 1 600 UAH.
Among individual contributions were a charitable donation of 50 US dollars from a resident of Mostyska, 500 UAH from town resident Henryk Pelts, 5 000 UAH from the Barnus family, as well as 100 000 UAH from Lviv Regional Council deputy Yevhen Buba.
Part of the funds was raised during events: a charity concert by the WowMusic studio vocal school brought in 4 010 UAH, and the Independence Day of Ukraine fair raised 86 950 UAH, 200 US dollars and 25 zlotys. During football matches on 9, 19 and 23 August 2026, 11 210 UAH, 4 250 UAH and 5 150 UAH were collected respectively. The remaining amount from July – 72 302 UAH – was also added to the total.
Part of the funds raised has already been allocated to the needs of the military. A total of 5 000 UAH was spent on military equipment, 11 200 UAH on repairing a machine, and 20 000 UAH on co-financing the purchase of a vehicle. A further 36 350 UAH was allocated for computer equipment for defence needs, 135 000 UAH for a quad bike, and 17 750 UAH for Starlink services. A separate expenditure of 10 000 UAH is also listed.
After these payments, the remaining balance stands at 167 622 UAH. The community stresses that it continues to work and organise collections in order to keep supporting service personnel and bringing Ukraine’s victory closer.
