On 24 September 2026, at the National Military Medical Clinical Centre in Kyiv, resident of the village of Limna Mykola Radetskyi died from the wounds he had sustained. This was reported by the Turka City Council.
It is noted that the serviceman was wounded while carrying out combat (special) tasks near the settlement of Prosianivka in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region, where he was taking part in the defence of Ukraine.
Mykola Radetskyi served as senior driver in the motorised infantry company of the motorised infantry battalion of military unit A4722 and fulfilled his military duty to the very end.
The Turka City Council extended its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the fallen defender, noting that they share their grief and bow their heads in mourning.
Information about the return of the serviceman’s body and the funeral service in the village of Limna will be released additionally.
