On Monday, the 25-year-old defender Ihor Kyrylov will return to his home community “on the shield”. The mourning cortege is expected to be met at approximately 13:30.
After the arrival of the body of the fallen serviceman, a Requiem Service and funeral rite will be held in the Church of the Most Holy Mother of God, Sovereign Lady of Ukraine.
The burial of Ihor Kyrylov is planned for the Heroes’ Alley of the Bendiuzkyi Cemetery. Residents of the community are urged to give the defender a dignified farewell on his final journey and to honour his memory.
