On 3 September 2026, Radekhiv will welcome the cortege bearing the body of fallen soldier Bohdan Dmytruk. Residents of the town are asked to come to the Heavenly Hundred stele and line the streets from Tarnavskoho Street to Yosyp Slipyi Street, all the way to his family home on Pivdenna Street, to form a guard of honour and pay tribute to the defender.
The cortege is expected at 15:00. The organisers are calling on residents to join in commemorating the fallen soldier and to accompany him with dignity on his final journey.
Farewell to the defender will begin on 4 September 2026 at 11:00 at Bohdan Dmytruk’s family home. The funeral service will then continue at the Church of St Nicholas in Radekhiv.
