On 11 September 2026, a cortege bearing the body of fallen defender Andriy Medvid will be received in Radekhiv. The cortege is scheduled to arrive at 14:30.
Residents of Radekhiv are asked to come out to the Heavenly Hundred stele and along Lvivska – Stoyanivska streets up to the statue of Jesus Christ, to form a guard of honour and pay tribute to the soldier who is returning to his native home in the village of Yastrubychi.
The funeral service for the fallen defender will take place on 12 September 2026 at 11:00 in the village of Yastrubychi.
The community calls on all who wish to join in the farewell and commemoration of Andriy Medvid.
