Honoring the Memory of Fallen Defender Volodymyr Kovaliv in Sambir District
A memorial plaque was installed and blessed on the facade of Baranivtsi General Secondary Education Institution of Biskovychi community in Sambir District in honor of the school’s former student.
Volodymyr Kovaliv: A Hero Who Gave His Life for Ukraine
- From the first days of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, he stood to defend his native land.
- He was the commander of the reconnaissance division of military unit A7371.
- He died on April 15, 2022, in the village of Lyutivka, Kharkiv region.
- Posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, III degree.
- He was 44 years old.
Family and friends of the warrior, local authorities, teachers, school students, and community residents attended the opening ceremony.
