On 31 August 2026 at 12:00 in Sambir, the community “LIVING IN WAITING” will hold a peaceful rally to mark the International Day of the Disappeared and to support the families of service personnel who have gone missing in special circumstances.
The organisers note that the event aims to draw public attention to the scale of the problem of people going missing, as well as to provide moral support to families who wait every day for news of their loved ones. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of community unity and solidarity with those who are experiencing loss or uncertainty regarding the fate of their relatives.
Participants are urged to join the event as a sign of respect and support for the families of the missing, and also to share information about the rally so that as many people as possible can take part.
