Honoring the Memory of Heroes in the Sokal Community
In the village of Tudorkovychi in the Sokal community, memorial plaques for Bohdan Shelemei and Roman Shavliuk were installed on the facade of the local school.
Opening and Blessing Ceremony
Family members of the fallen, local authorities, and residents gathered for the opening and blessing ceremony to honor the memory of the Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine.
- Bohdan Shelemei
Born in the village of Tudorkovychi. He stood in defense of the Homeland from the first days of the full-scale invasion. Joined the 63rd Separate Battalion of Territorial Defense. He died on August 9, 2024, near the settlement of Kyianytsia in the Sumy region. He was 36 years old. - Roman Shavliuk
A native of the village of Tudorkovychi. After the start of the full-scale war, he joined the National Guard of Ukraine to defend the country. He died on August 19, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The warrior was 26 years old.
