A heartbreaking loss has touched the Sheptytska community — Petro Zinoviyovych Balitskyi, a veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine born in 1969, has passed away at the age of 54.
For nearly two years, he served in the ranks of the Ukrainian military. However, due to health issues, he had to leave his service. Sadly, on September 9, his heart stopped.
The local community extends its deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. We bow our heads in gratitude to the Defender who devoted part of his life to protecting Ukraine.
