The Sheptytskyi community has received another tragic message from the front line. Serviceman Valentyn Volodymyrovych Pobokov died while fighting for Ukraine’s freedom, independence, and future.
According to the Sheptytskyi City Council, the Hero was killed on May 1 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Lisne in Zaporizhzhia region. Valentyn Pobokov served as a soldier and commander of the control section of the battery commander of a rocket artillery battery in military unit A4700.
The warrior died as a result of an enemy FPV drone attack while remaining faithful to his military oath and defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
