In the Sheptytskyi district, the families of fallen servicemen were presented with high state awards, with which the defenders were honoured posthumously, the Lviv Regional State Administration reported.
The Order “For Courage” III class was awarded to Vasyl Yaremechko, Serhii Voroshyk, Oleksandr Shcholokov, Volodymyr Holko, Volodymyr Chernii and Yevhen Proskurenko.
Separately, Serhii Voroshyk was distinguished with the honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the “Combatant’s Cross”.
The awards were handed over to the relatives of the fallen defenders. The Sheptytskyi District State Administration emphasised the commemoration, respect and glory due to all the Heroes.
