A memorial plaque was unveiled in the Sheptytskyi district in honor of 22-year-old Hero Andriy Kantsir.
The commemorative sign was placed on the facade of the house in the town of Hirnyk, where the defender lived. Relatives, comrades, representatives of local authorities, and residents of the Sheptytskyi community gathered at the honoring ceremony.
Andriy Kantsir held the position of an operator of unmanned aerial complexes of military unit A4355. He died on May 20, 2024, during a combat mission near the village of Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region.
