In Sosnivka, families of soldiers who are missing or held captive have chosen a location for a symbolic installation. It will remind the townspeople of the defenders who are awaited to return from the war.
“This was announced by the headwoman Iryna Kharchuk during a meeting yesterday.” At the meeting held on Sunday, November 30, 12 families attended. By common decision, they chose the central part of the city – to the left of the Taras Shevchenko monument.
According to Iryna Kharchuk, the local administration is aware of only 21 missing defenders. Therefore, communication will now be conducted with other families of missing soldiers to encourage them to join this important initiative.
