Roman Hrytsan is coming home for ever. In Stryi district, the schedule for the welcome, farewell and funeral of the soldier has been announced.
The arrival of the funeral cortege is planned for 12 June at 13:30 in the village of Pʼiatnychany. The cortege will then proceed through Stryi to the village of Pidhirtsi, where a brief farewell will be held near his family home.
After this, the funeral procession will return to Stryi, to the Church of the Annunciation, where a panikhida will be held at 19:00.
The funeral of soldier Roman Hrytsan will take place on 13 June at 11:00. The defender will be laid to rest on the Alley of Heroes in Stryi.
Residents are urged to accompany the fallen defender on his final journey as a community.
