The fallen defender of Ukraine Viktor Khyla is returning to his native land. The Stryi City Council reported on the reception and funeral of the soldier.
On Tuesday, 22 July, at 13:00, the community will receive the coffin with the body of Viktor Khyla in the village of Piatnychany. On the same day at 19:15 a parastas will be held.
The farewell and funeral of the defender are scheduled for Thursday, 23 July, at 11:00 in the Church of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Stryi. Residents of the community are urged to join in common prayer and accompany the soldier on his final journey.
In its post, the Stryi City Council expressed condolences to the family and friends of the fallen defender and gratitude for his service to Ukraine.
